2-Year vs 4-Year Ceramic Coating
Both our 2-year and 4-year ceramic coatings are designed to provide longer-lasting protection than traditional waxes and sealants, while making the vehicle easier to maintain. The main difference is the expected durability, so the right option largely comes down to how long you want the protection to last and how you intend to look after the car.
Choosing Between the Two
A 2-year ceramic coating can make sense if you want the benefits of a coating without committing to the longest-lasting option, particularly if you change cars regularly or expect to have the paintwork revisited within a couple of years. The 4-year coating is aimed at owners who plan to keep the vehicle longer and want to maximise the period before another coating application is required.
Preparation Matters Just as Much
Whichever coating you choose, the preparation beforehand has a major influence on the finished result. At Vos Detailing, ceramic coatings are added to an appropriate detailing package so the paintwork can first be properly cleaned, prepared and machine polished. This means the choice isn't simply between two coatings — it's about starting with properly prepared paintwork and then selecting the level of long-term protection that suits the vehicle.
Pricing
Here are the services we provide. Prices listed are for small/medium vehicles where large and XL vehicles or above incur a small further charge to cover labour and product expenses.
Additional charges will also be quoted upon inspection for excess pet hair, staining, or anything that may require specialised targeted treatment or result in additional labour.

Yes. Vos Detailing offers mobile valeting and detailing. Confirm the address, parking/access and any practical requirements when arranging the booking.

No. Valeting is primarily cleaning and maintaining the car. Detailing covers more involved work such as decontamination, machine polishing, paint correction and ceramic coating, aswell as cleaning and/or restoring parts of the vehicle a valet simply would not touch.

It depends on the package, vehicle size and condition. A maintenance valet is quicker than a deep interior and exterior reset; the expected times are detailed on the detailing services price list above, and will be confirmed when booking.
